Paul believes influential leaders continuously grow as individuals, developing their skills and adapting to the ever-changing landscape.
Early in his executive career, Paul studied the ideas behind coaching, and this study profoundly impacted his approach to leadership. As an executive, he consistently incorporated coaching into his leadership style, recognizing it as a means to empower his team members and drive organizational success. Through this approach, Paul built a reputation as a leader who developed great teams and inspired those around him to work at their highest level, grow as leaders, and to excel.
Paul is an accomplished senior healthcare executive and physician with a distinguished clinical practice and executive leadership career. Over the course of his career, Paul held numerous senior leadership roles, including serving as CEO for two prominent complex healthcare organizations and as a system-level senior officer within a nine-facility healthcare system.
He began his medical career after completing his undergraduate education at Abilene Christian University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, followed by graduate medical training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard Medical School. He also earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. His unique blend of clinical insight, strategic vision, and leadership skills has made him a respected leader in the healthcare industry.
Paul is a member of the International Coaching Federation and is pursuing certification through the Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara, California.
